1. Overview of SaaS Subscriptions & 14-Day Free Trial

RentNearby operates on a transparent Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model for shop owners and equipment merchants across India.

• 14-Day Risk-Free Trial: Every new merchant store receives an automatic 14-day free trial. No credit card or upfront payment is required to start your trial.
• Subscription Plans: Billing is offered on Monthly and Yearly cycles for Starter (₹199/mo), Standard (₹399/mo), and Pro (₹799/mo) plans.

2. SaaS Subscription Refund Policy (7-Day Window)

If you purchase a paid SaaS subscription (Monthly or Yearly) and are dissatisfied with our platform for any reason, you are eligible for a full refund within 7 calendar days of the initial payment date.

3. Subscription Cancellation Procedure

Merchants may cancel auto-renewal of their subscription at any time without penalty:

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
• Upon cancellation, your store will remain active until the expiry date and will subsequently revert to standard status.
• No cancellation fee is charged for ending a subscription.

4. Peer-to-Peer Rental Bookings & Security Deposits

RentNearby provides direct peer-to-peer connection tools between Renters and Shop Owners.

Daily rental charges, security deposit refunds, and equipment returns occur directly between the Renter and Merchant. RentNearby does not hold or escrow item security deposits. Refund terms for physical rental orders are governed by the merchant’s individual store return policies.
